Last Tuesday (election day) we went to Rice’s Flea Market near Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, PA. This flea is open on Tuesdays, Saturdays and select holidays. On Tuesdays there are many more vendors present.
Rice’s has a lot of stores from the New Hope area selling overstock and store returns. This is a great place to buy discount name brand clothes, hand bags and accessories as well as the knock off versions. It pays to look around the entire market first as products can vary widely in price.
Fresh flowers, fruits and veggies and landscaping plants are here too!
This past Sunday I rode in the 28th Annual CBBC Covered Bridges Ride hosted by the The Central Bucks Bike Club. The ride took place in Tinicum Park, Erwinna, Bucks County, PA. I rode the 50 mile leg with 3 friends. Another guy in our opted for the 30 mile route since he was not equipped for the 30-ish degree temperatures at the start.
This beautiful bike route sent us though 6 historic covered bridges in Bucks County, PA. With over 2,500 riders, many people had stayed over night in hotels and traveled from all over the east coast to participate in this annual event.
