This past Sunday I enjoyed breakfast at the famous Odeon! I had delicious and certainly unique Lemon and Poppy Seed pancakes! Love it!! Service was EXCELLENT. The Odeon is a beautiful Art Deco restaurant in Tribeca.

Wednesday night Jon and I went up to the East Village to check out 2 of his friends in a poetry slam at the Nuyorican Cafe. Somebody missed the exit for the train station and we were starving by the time we got out of the taxi near Tompkin Park. Benny’s was a cute Village Mexican restaurant. But it was different. Beside the cool crowd (that’s us!) it seemed like pretty healthy food. Ever hear of Cojita Cheese????

New York City is home to one of the many Chinatowns. Here in the big city it’s hard to find a town that is a small, peaceful little place, such as Chinatown. It is home to many small, authentic Chinese restaurants. The restaurants are decorated in fans, Chinese plants and symbolic figures symbolising from luck to wealth. Besides all the decorations the food is great too. The food tastes as great as how pretty the dishes that they are served on.

Chinatown, NY is full of beautiful fans and silk dresses. But there is still shirt, pants and skirts. There is a lot of clothes from hats to shoes, here in Chinatown, NY. Chinatown, NY sells Chinese decor. and furniture.

Chinatown has many playgrounds. Some of the shops sell toys. There are some toy stores, but not many. One toy they sell is the finger trap. You can be sure to find the Chinese yo-yo, in Chinatown, NY.

I usually travel to Manhattan by train. I visit clients and am always trying to find a good restaurant. I was supposed to go in last Friday but did not. Maybe next week
